CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
Participants are invited to submit abstracts for Oral and Poster Presentations. The invitation is extended to all doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals. These may include both clinical and research topics relevant to Otology, Neurotology and Skull Base surgery and the different themes of the symposia.

Abstracts must be submitted according to the instructions below and must be received no later than 30 July 2012.
Abstracts submitted after the closing dateline will not be considered. All presenting authors, whose abstracts are accepted, MUST be paid registrants no later than 17 August 2012. All abstracts should be submitted using the prescribed Abstract Submission Form. |
Guidelines For Abstract Submission

Abstracts should be submitted on the form and template available for download. Completed form must be emailed to [email protected].
Abstracts must be submitted in English only. Abstracts: All abstracts must be typed in Times New Roman font size 10 with single spacing, and must fit within the box. Text length (not including title and author information) must be at least 100 words and not exceed 250 words. Title: Use a concise title. Capitalise the first letter of first word and all other words except prepositions, conjunctions, and articles. Do not use acronyms, abbreviations, and initials in a title. Scientific abstracts (Oral Presentations) must be organized as follows: (1) Objectives, (2) Materials and Methods (3) Results and (4) Conclusion. Only completed scientific studies are accepted. Works in progress are not accepted. Educational Poster abstracts must be categorized as follows (1) Learning Objectives, (2) Background, (3) Imaging Findings or Procedure Details, (4) Conclusion. References should not be included. Abbreviations should only be used for common terms. For uncommon terms, the abbreviation should be given in brackets after the first full use of the word. Do not use tables or graphs in the abstracts. All data must be in narrative form. |

Receipts of submission will be acknowledged via email.
The Scientific Committee will evaluate all abstract submissions based on quality, clarity and relevance for our audience, as well as the significance of the material. Presenting authors will receive an email notification of abstracts’ acceptance and details of presentation in September 2012. All presenting authors must register for the Conference upon acceptance on their abstract(s). Details of the oral presentation and poster format will be provided for successful submissions. Authors who wish to withdraw their submission are to notify the secretariat in writing. |
